Season Three - Coachella Valley Firebirds
Bantaray Assists with the Coachella Valley Firebirds In-House Broadcast Control Room Build-Out
Bantaray is proud to be a key player in the development of the Coachella Valley Firebirds' in-house broadcast control room, helping elevate the team’s broadcast capabilities for their home season games. Working closely with the Firebirds, we provided a comprehensive solution by staffing the crew, supplying additional support equipment, and offering expertise in all aspects of production.
As the Technical Director and Director of the broadcast, Steve Banta has been at the forefront of ensuring the highest level of quality in each live broadcast. With Jason Cardona producing the shows, the broadcast has been a seamless experience, with all elements coming together to showcase the Firebirds in action. The broadcasts have been well-received by audiences, and it's been an exciting time for our team, especially as we witness the Firebirds rebuild their roster after top players were moved up to the Seattle Kraken.
In addition to our broadcast services, Bantaray’s creative team has developed some standout motion graphics, including the broadcast graphics package and the highly popular Kraken Korner animations. These dynamic elements have added a special touch to the broadcast, enhancing the viewer experience with engaging visuals and seamless transitions.
For the technical side of the build-out, Bantaray played an instrumental role in installing and configuring key equipment in the Firebirds’ control room. The Ross Carbonite Ultra switcher and Ross Xpression graphics machine were essential to bringing the broadcast vision to life, and our team also contributed to designing the custom graphics package to fit the Firebirds’ branding and style.
As we continue our partnership with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, we’re excited to support the team’s growth both on and off the ice. The live broadcasts on NBC-Palm Springs continue to be a hit with fans, and Bantaray is thrilled to be an integral part of this amazing journey. Keep tuning in to watch the Firebirds rise to the occasion with high-quality broadcasts and stunning graphics that showcase the team’s hard work and dedication.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
