As we wrap up an exciting Season Two of the CIF SS Ford Game of the Week, in partnership with David Otta Productions, Bantaray is proud to reflect on the incredible journey that spanned 18 weeks of action-packed high school football. This season, we had the privilege of broadcasting some of the most intense matchups in Southern California, featuring national-ranked teams like Mater Dei and St. John Bosco, showcasing the immense talent that makes SoCal football so special.

Broadcasting on both Bally’s Sports Network and FanDuel Sports, we brought the action directly to fans, delivering high-quality productions that highlighted the athletes, coaches, and excitement of high school football. One of the most memorable moments of the season was broadcasting from the iconic SoFi Stadium, home to the LA Rams and Chargers. It was incredible to bring our small, yet powerful 23ft truck into such a massive broadcast compound, allowing us to seamlessly integrate into the larger broadcast operation while maintaining the intimacy of our own team.

The logistics of moving each week to a new venue posed unique challenges, especially with the task of running home run cabling to all the camera positions. However, we made it work, ensuring that the broadcast ran smoothly no matter the location. One of the major innovations this season was the integration of Dante audio, which was a game-changer. By using Dante, we were able to streamline the talent audio workflow without needing to rely on heavy, cumbersome DT-12 cables. This made setup more efficient and allowed us to keep things tidy, especially in such tight and varied venues.

This season’s production featured a 4-camera setup, ensuring a dynamic and comprehensive view of the action. We also used Ross Xpression graphics to deliver stunning, real-time visuals that kept the broadcast fresh and engaging.

As we look ahead to Season Three with David Otta Productions, we are excited to continue growing this partnership and providing top-notch high school football coverage across Southern California. With the talent, technology, and team that we have, we can’t wait to take the production to even greater heights. Stay tuned for another thrilling season of the CIF SS Ford Game of the Week!
